i walk through the gardens of sin
and reap what i sown
the seeds are growing inside me
i feel them weave through my bones

the world is drowned in the shadows
nightfall has conquered the day
the land is wounded with fires
still burning but giving no light
the echoes of my weary footsteps
silenced by layers of ash
the dust is shrouding my vision
filling my throat and my lungs

the darkness has fallen
the flesh turned to stone
witnessing ruin
my whisper, a dirge

i'm nearing the end of my path
the air is heavy and stale
collapsed on the dry lifeless ground
i take my last breath
the blood thickened and cold
no longer runs through the veins
the skin shatters and breaks
pierced from within by the protruding leaves

cleansed by the ashes
the earth lies in wait
from the flames of destruction
the new flower blooms

from blood and dust
from flesh and bone

my body is covered with vines
the blossoms grow through my eyes
black leaves welcome the dawn

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey. The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
